Miss Schlimmer, of Chelsea, is! the guest of Mrs. Fred Kensler. ■ Walter C. Mack and Mr. Eisernann were out from Ann Arbor a few days, assistiog in taking invoice of the store. Mr. and Mrs. Culver, of Brooklyn, have heen visiting their daughter, Mrs. B. W. Arasden. barnest Kenzler, who has been home for a vacation from Elmhurst college, lias returned to resume lis work . Master Raynor Haeussler entertained a number of his friencis at his home last Thursday evening. They all had a fine time. The Christian Endeavor took a sleigh ride last Monday evening, to the home of Mr. Luchardt, Uridgewater. The Young Ladies' society of the Emanuel's church held their yeariy] meeting at the parsonage last week Thursday evening. The followingi officers were elected for the coming! year: President, Miss Julia Schoettle; vice pres., Miss MarieKirchhoier: secretary, Miss Katie Marx;} treasurer, Miss Julia Kirchhofer. The following officers were elected for the Emanuel's Sunday school: Supt., Rev. G. Schoettle; assistant S"pt., Mr. M Schiable; sec'y, Miss -Marie Kirchhofer; treas., Miss Ella Braun; librarían, Níiss Julia Kirchhofer. One of' our oíd citizens, Lorenzo Coon, died at his home on Sunday morning. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon.
