Tony Farrell, the Irish comedian, opened to a packed house at the Curtís Street Theatre last night, in his production of "Garry Owen." The play is a typical story of Irish peasant life, and is well told by the members of the company. Tony Farrell as the Irish lad, gives a manly characteri.ation, and the other characters are well taken. The play is finely staged, the church scène in the second act being specially realistic. The singing of the church choir is a feature, and adds greatly to the effectiveness of the scène. Grand opera house, Jan. 24.
