Hon. Charles R. Whitman has aƭinounced his intention of removing his law offices frotn this city to Detroit, while retaining his residence here, going in to Detroit on the morning train and returning in the evening. He has engaged offices in Detroit in the Buhl block. Mr. Whitman goes to Detroit for a wider field in the profession in which he shines so brilliantly. He is gifted with an eloquent tongue, and his oratory is known all over the state. He has a quick and accurate grasp of legal principƔis, knows the fine technical points of law and possesses the faculty of doing an immense amount of work in a very short time. This faculty places him in the front rank of the lawyers of the state, in cases where sharp, quick work is necessary to save a client's interests.
