No school next Friday - Washington's hirthdiiy . The juniors harte decided tö nave a class pin. The S. C. A. meeting ibis afternoon vi!l be led by Miss Crozier. Miss Taylor was abie to resume her school work, Mönday. The Joint debate between the Arena and Clio has been postponed until ncxt Friday night. There will bè a meeting of the i Omega board this afiernoon. The physies classes have been perimenting with electricity, in the j laboratory, this week. The subject for debate by the Clio, tonight, is: "Resolved, That j the character of Queen Elizabeth is ; i one to be admired." Afïirmative, Missi-s Wise and Moore; negative, Misses Niles and Pardon; and for the Lyceum: "Resolved, That free : trade is a' better commercial poücy ! than protection." AfBrmative, I Bjice and Gauss; negative, Caldwell ! ! and Gilbert.
