Daring the recent blizzurd when the wind blew at a terrino rate great banks of snow were fonned along the south bank of the river. NexC the wind blew so bard that it lifted the waves of water out of the rivcr and dashed them against the snow banks. As they recolel they left great big catflsh etleking head flrst In thesnowbank, where they trozo and remained. After the storm the settlers choppud them out and drew them away by the wagon load, many of the iish weighing twelve or fifteon pounds.
