Miss Clara McMulIen has been quite ill. Rev. Frank Arnolil, of Ypsilanti, preached in the Baptist charch last Monday evening. John Wilmot moved on to the j Hathaway place last Monday. The M. E. church people talk of having Rev. Dr. Ryan, of Yysilanti, give a lecture on his travels in Palestine, in the near future. Rev. Marshall, of Saline, is assisting Rev. Mead in revival work this week. Two young bloods of this place had a fistic argument last Monday. The result is an assault and battery case before Justice Doyle, of Milan, to be tried next week. ohn Gordon has started a saw mili on his place a few miles west of here. Fat larnbs seem to be prolitable stock this winter. Several bunches have been sold near here lately for 5 and $5. 25 per cwt.
