A report froru the French capital is to the effect that the abbreviated CO9tumewhich the Parisienne calis her bicycle dress has been found so comfortable that several women who love to hunt andfishwear ithabitually on their country estates in the daytime. They rejoice in the sharp contrasta of silken, lace beflecked tea gown and the smarteat of dinner frocks in the evening, but bicycles seeru to have succeeded in introducing in a few months what dress reformers have been vainly trying to inaugúrate for years - i. e., a sensible outdoor costurne for women. Iu even the most conservative of countries as to dress, the United States, it is now considered the proper thing to wear a very short tailor made skirt, with knickerbockers and leathor leggings, for country tramps pr sports.
