New York Women Interested
Miss Ella M. Powell, the daughter of a physiciau of Atlanta, is the chairruan of tho New York coimnitteeof woman's work in connection %vith the Atlanta exposition. Through her efforts the wornen of this city have been interested in this great fair of the cotton states, and it is expected that -when the Woman's building opensnext September, with the rest of the splendid ones which will make np the group of exposition buildings, the room allotted to New York women will fmely represent its owners. Some of the ladies already interested are Mrs. Egbert Guernsey, Mrs. Russell Sage, Mrs. Margaret Sangster, Miss Jordao, Mrs. John Sherwood and Mrs. G. H. T.
