Death Of Mrs. L. M. Lyons

Mrs. L. M. Lyon died at the homo of her son Arthur S. Lyon, in Scio, of old age, last evenius', tigeü Sí! years und 18 days. The funeral services wSll be held at her own home, 90 V. Huron st., on Wednesday afternoon at ü o'elock. Burlal in Forest Hill cexaetery. Mrs. Lyon was born in Bioom countj', N. Y., in 1S12, her malden name being Iuna Lano. She camo to Michigan in 1830. In 1S32 she married Lorenzo M. Lyon anl they settled upon a farm in Scio. Here tliey lived untll 1874, when they erected and movod into a houso on W. Huron st., in this city. They were separated by Üie death of Mr. Lyon, May 2, 1888. Sha continued to reside in Ann Arbor most of the time until this winter when she went to stay with her son on the old farm in Scio, where she died. She leaves the following chlldren to mourn her loss: Daniel and Arthur S., of Scio, Charles W., of Petoskey, Robert G., of Vassar, Theodore EL, of Eaton Raplds, Mrs. Jeanie Carr, of Charleston, W. Va., and Mrs. C. D. Thomas, of Kansas City, Mo.
