New York, March 7. -The United Building Trades league, cómposed of all the members of the Employers' and Contractors' assoeiation, met last night and adopted the following resolutton: 'Resolved, That we the oontractors on the various buildings affected by the strike, in meeting as a body, agree to proceed with our work at once with union or non-union men, and pledge to each other our jnutual support; and that it is our opinión that the various employers' organizations ehould indorse this action." President Otto Eldlitz, of the Master Builders' assoeiation, said In explanation that the Electrioal Contractors' association had adopted similar resolutions a week ago, saying that non-union men would be put to work Monday morning, butdecided to wait a few days to see if if any of their men would return to work. Notices were posted in all the buildings where the strike is lu urogress warning strikers that their places would be filled if they did not return to work imiuediately.
