NEW Yokk, March 7.- A lire in the apartments of John Lcwis, at Brooklyn, last night resulted in the death oL his 4year-old daughter, Gertie, and the serious burniug of his -yearold son, DanieJ. tíoth children had been left alone, when theclothing of the little girl ignited while she was playing at the kitohen stove.
