The following is the cali: Ann Arbor, Makch h, '95. The Common Council is requested to moet at the council chamber, Saturday, Maren 9, at H::iU, a. m., to takc action concerning the death and burial of Alderman P.L. Bodmer. Signed, O. G. DAKLING, Mayor Aid. Kitson moved tliat a committee of three be appointed to draft proper resolutions. Adopted. Pres. Wines appointed the folio wing as a committee on resolutions: Aid. Wagner, Wood, Prettyman. On motion, a recess of ten minutes was taken. . After the expiration of the stated time the council reconvened and the ! committee on resolutions made the following report: Whereas 11 liaspleaeedan all wiseand beneficent Providence to remove f rom our midst Alderman l'earson L. Bodmer, and Whereas his faithful and etflcient services for tlit; public welfare, his unseltish and uuSwervlng devotion to the highest interests of our city, his noble character and upright eonduct are deemed worthy to be commemoni ted in a public manner; be it Resolved, That the beartfelt symiiathy of this body is extended to the family of the deceased in their deep sorrow. Ue it finthcr Resolved, That these resolutions be spread apon our records, and that thé eity clerk be and is hereby instructed to present to the tamilyan engrossed oopy of the same, líe it further Resolved, That lus chair in the council be draped in mournlng for tbe periocl of thirty days. C. W. W AG NEK. li. G. PRETTYMAN. BJBANK WOOD. Adoptèd. Aid. Martin moved tliat Aid. Kitson be appointed to nnike arrangements tor a floral design. Aid. Martin moved tliat this council and the several city oilicers meet at the city building at 2 o'clock p. m. on the day of the funeral and attend the same in a body, and further that the clerk be instructed to procure a suflicient numberof carriages to aecommodate the number attending. Adopted. On motion. the council adiourneil City Clerk.
