From Oklahorna comes a report of the analyses of whippoorwill cowpeas at five different stages and of prairie grass, "composed ahuost wholly of blue stem and joint grass, " at three different cuttings. With reference to the cowpea, results indicate that for a good hay the peas, including vines, leaves and pods, should be harvested as soon as tho peas have matured in the pods. Should the erop be late it is botter to cut beforo complete matuvity than to delay tho harvesting until a heavy frost has killed the vines and leaves.
