For a nnmber of years artificial flowers were entirely out of fashiou. Hats and bonnets were trimmed witb ribbons or with ostrich feathers. Man; ïnanufactnrersof flowers werernined by this long continuad freak of style. They have their revenge today, when rheir products never v?ere in so high favop. They are worn at present uot oulv on headgear, but also as profuso garniti-.ie for evening gowns. Maiiy woinoii have light frocks adornedwith tiuy b inqnets that dot the whole skirt. Thu fi í.il mllars and collarettea, tho blossóui bedecked tiny mnffs, all assist in disposIng of thousands of these fragüe triarminss at this end of the centnry.
