Henry Ridley, of Montpelier, ()., is visiting friends here. Mrs. Wm. Reilly and family were called to Marshall by the death of Mrs. Reilly's father. D. Bassett, of Pontiac, will remove to this city. W. S. Cheever has been visiting in Jackson. J. D. Ryan has returned from Hot Springs, New Orleans and St Louis. Miss Grace Haven is visiting friends in Chicago and Evanston. Ex-Representative Williams, o Eaton Rapids, is in the city. William Clancy is visiting nis daughter in Howell. Adolph Krause, of Grand Rapids has been visiting his sister here.
