Walter C. Mack leaves today for New York, where he will be joined by the same business men who with him formed asyndicate last fall, and whose buying was most decidedly advantageous. The combination of large business houses in purchasing goods saves the importers' and jobbers' charges, as they deal directly with manufacturers and places them in a position to give great bargains to the trade.
