The Wound Not Thoaght To Be BerlaiuL The name of the young man wlio at tetnpted the life of Li Hung Chang is Kuyania Kokunosuki. His antecedente are unknown. Li Hung Chang was shot Ui the cheek. lt is bulieved that the wouml is not serious. Prime Minister Ito has telegraphed to Hiroshima asking tliat Dr. Sato, the imperial physician, be sent to Shimonoseki to altend the Chinese comiuissioner. The ministers oí state and a number of other officials have visited Li Hung Chang and express their deep sorrow at th occurrenct. Every precaution lias been taken by the pólice and military to prevent any troublo. The government profoundly regrets the afrair.
