A resolution was adopted for adjournmeut from Friday until next VS'udnesday. Iu the house Jones, of Cook connty, arraigned Auditor Goro for sending out a circular calling on üuildiug and loan ussociations to protest againsc the passage of the Jones bill to establish a separate departniont for tlieir regulatiou. He offered a resolution to investígate Gore's ndministration of his office, but permission to read it was rafused. Tne sonate resolution to adjourn from Friday to Wednesday was adopted and tho sonato bill providing that county boards may divide an election precinot containing more thau 35U legal votet-a was passed.
