Civilization is inaking rapid strides in South África, but the bushman yet makes his own kuife andwith considerable ingenuity. They dig a littlo iron, find a broken hatchet or a hoop froni a rum barrel, and out of these parts they forin even ases, adzes, hammers and about everything they need in that lino. These implenients are of course very crude, but thenativehasmuch patience.
