The glass had no soouer touched the tooth thaushe uttored a frigbtful scream, and, bouncing out of the chair, rushed out into the waiting room, crying that her jaw was broken. The united efforta of her h ds band and the dentist were for sorae time nnable to persuade her thai the tooth was not extracted and that she could not possibly have boen hurt. After examiniug her mouth with the aid of a glass sha finally becanie convinced that the tooth was still in Ú8 place.
