Editor Argus: Mrs. Elizabeth P. Felton, of Clinton, now in her 88th year, has pieoed and quilted, during the past winter, a bed quilt containing 1,630 pieces. Eutertaining an exalted opinión of the medical profession to whom she is indebted, after some years of blindness, for restoration to sight, she has stitched iu one córner of the quilt the following, which explains itself : "To Dr. F. W. Palmer, from Mrs. E P. Pelton. 8? years oíd. This is a present frum your oíd friend, béeaose you were always a good boy and 1 knOw that yon wül be a noble man and skilled p oian. P. S. Tais is for yon when yi! married. ' ' The doctor is at present on the hospital staff at the umversity and still a bachelor. It is the hope of the writer that this maycatch the eye of some one ot' his lady friends who will fciodly assist him in obtaining this gift as soon as possible.
