Civil Service Examination

The regular semi annnal examination for the grades of clerk aud carrier in the Aun Arbor post-office will be held 011 Saturday, Juue 1, 1895, commencing at 9 o'clock A. M. Only citizens of the United States can be exainined. The age limitatious are as follows : For caiTier, not nnder 21 nor over 40; for all other positious, not raider 18 years. No applicatiou will be received for this examination imless filed with the nndersigned in complete forni, on proper blank, before the hour of closing business on May 13, 1895. The Civil Service Commission takes this opportnnity of saying that the examinations are open to all reputable oitizens who may desire to enter the postal servioe, without regard to their politíoal affiliations. All such oitizeus, whether deniocrats or republicana, or neither, are invited to apply. They wiH be examined, graded and cortified with eatire hnpartiality, and wholly without regard to fcheir politioal views, or to ;my conaideratioti save their efficiency, as shown by the grades they obtain in the oxaminatioii.
