A ghastly discovery was made in theEuron river at Foster's station Satur3ay afternoon by a young gentleman and lady, who were out rowing. It. was the body of a man fully dressed standing upright in the riyer and covsred with the slimc which had accmrmlated about him. They towed the body to the bank and notified undertaker Martin, who with Coroner Ball i moved the body froni the river. The remains were those of a man ! about ñfty years old, heavily built,, nbout flve feet nine inches tall and with ! a jnustache of a light brown oolor. He [ wore three tinder shirts, a vest, co:it, a good overcoat, trowsers, two pairs of overalls and a heavy pair of boots. He had no collar or necktie on. The only things in kis pockots were a inouth organ, an empty pocket book and two empty tobáceo bags. It was evident from the advanced stage of decomposition in which the body was, that the man had been dead for some time, the experts judging that he had been dead for two or three months. The body had been seen in the river for several weeks but wa3 snpposed to be a stump. i No öne knows or has any idea who the man is. It is snpposed by some that he was a tramp who had fallen off tho railroad bridge while crossing it. j The coroner's jury simply found that the man carne to his death by drowning.
