Many eastern people think that Ann Arbor is in the wild, woolly west where bizaare fashions are the order of the day. One New York paper telegraphed its Ann Arbor correspondent for photographs of co-eds in bloomer costumes, and could not quite believe its correspondent's reply that it was difficult to procure such photographs. It may be possible that the New York telegraph editor has been in the habit of reading the Detroit evening papers, and received bis impressions from the lurid imaginations of their youthful correspondents.
