They Approved The Liquor Bonds

The special meeting of ihe common council held last evening to approve the liquor and other bonds passed off very pleasantly in spite of the fact that the smiling city clerk had had three .bricks, not in heat, put under his reet. The brick were sample brick to be used for crossings. The committee reported favorably on the bonds and they were unanimously approved. The mayor was absent from the meeting, a dignified proceeding not in vogue since Mayor Doty filled the office so acceptably. Next Monday Mayor Walker will announce his appointments.
