Mr. N. Schinid and son drove to Sand Lake Snnday. Mrs. JamesKelly is visiting Jackson freinds. The 118W cement walk around the Union Saviugs Bank building is fine. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Chase of Jackson, have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Chase. Miss Miller of 'Aun Arbor is visiting Mr. and Mrs. George Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Tobías Laubenguyer, of Scio, spent Thursday with friends in town. ; Miss Flora Hertbeck. of Teciunseh, speut Sunday with her frieud, Miss Myra Spafford. Fred .Burtless and frieud who are attending the Anu Arbor high school, arrived here Friday afternoou on their bicycles, to visit Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Burtless. Mr. G. Josenhans, of'"The Store," Ann Arbor, carne to Manchester last Saturday to take Mr. Buss' place in W. C. Jlack's store. Mr. Buss being called away on account of the death of hiri brother. Mr. Charles Adrián jweut to Blissfield on business. % Auioug those who came to Manchester to attend the '_Wurster - Schaible wedding last Thursday are the following : Mr. and Mrs. Christ. Wurster and Miss Louise Wurster of Detroit, Mr. Houck, Frederick Kalmbach and Miss Rosa Koebler of Jackson, Mr. and Mre. Charles Kreitner of Norvell.
