Clergymen Next
The street uommittee of the couucil is off on a junketing tour next Tuesday at the expense of the stone crnsher and street roller oompanies. They will visit Detroit, Buffalo, Harrisburg, Pa. and Springfield, Ohio, and will visit the battlefield of Gettysburg. The entire committee, consisting of Aid. Taylor, Moore, Allrnendinger, Snyder, Ferguson, Prettyman, and Bntterfleld are expected to go together with City Clerk Mills and Prof. M. E. Cooley, who is wanted as an expert. The variĆ³os conipeting conipanies chipped in $320 to dei'ray the expense of the trip, whioh will prove a very enjoyable one to the aldermen and should prove of advantage to the city.
