Disposed Of Seminary Control

PlTTSBURG, May 30.- At the United Presbyterian assembly the question oL seminary control was finally disposed of. The majority report proposed that the general asseinbly have the velo power and also the authority to remove professors from the seminaries for unsoundness in the faith. The ïninority report was the same excopt that it stipulated that professors should not be removed without first being given a trial. A resol ution was passed embodying these propositions-. It also provides for the appointment of a committee to negotiato with the synods having control of the theological seminaries with a view to the adjustiuent oí any apparent or allegud discrepancias between their action and their chartered rights. The assembly flnished its business and adjGurned sine die last night.
