íjkb MOINES, June 20.- The Frohibinon state convention met in the Young Men'a Chrlstian Association hall. The convention was notable for the présenos of a number of lady delegates who omo In respoase to an lnvitatlon in the cali for Women's Christian Temperanoe Unions and also all other organizations in sympathy with prohibición to send delegates. The convention roasted the Republican party for the passage of the mulct law. The following nominatlons were made: For governor, Frank Bacon, Milton Junetion; lieutenant governor, M P. Atwood, Esthorviüe; supreme court judge, Judgc J. W. Rogers, West Union; superintendent of public instruction, Mrs. Ii. D. Carhart, Marión; railroad ooinmiBsioner, H. F. Johns, Hurrison county. The resolutions declare for woman sufirage; for the f ree coinage of sllvor and gold at the ratio of 16 to 1; government ownership and operation for the railways; for Sunday observance, and for the income tax. They denounce the mulct law and the Republioan purty as the author of said law.
