Miss Jessie Bower, of Lansing has been visitiug friends in the city. Prof. and Mrs. Rudolph, of Carthage, 111. , visited Rev. and Mrs. W. L. Tedrow last week. Frank Melntyre. Edward Taylor, Joseph McCabe, Harry Brown, and Henry Norton, have returned home from Sandwich College. Theodore Huss, of Saginaw, e. s., president of a large iron rule maufacturing company, was in the city Sunday Tisiting his sister, Miss Amelia Huss. Mr. Huss is an old Ann Arbor boy, and has many friends in the city William Weber and family, of Detroit, are the guests of Mrs. Weber's mother, Mrs. Anna Behr. Mr. Weber is largely interested in northern Michigan timber and fanning lands. Dr. W. B. Eister, of Plushing, is visïting in the city. Mrs. O. A. Critchett, of Monroe, is visiting her sister, Mrs. William Dansingburg. Miss Mary E. Dickey, teacher of G-erman in the high school, went to Marshall Saturday for the summer. Mrs. Frazer, of Chicago, with her family, is visiting Mrs. Tripp. Fred C. Wetmore, of Cadillac, is visiting his father, W. W. Wetmore. S. S. Mummery is visiting his brother in Milford. Frank Sessions, of Columbus, Ohio, is visiting his father, J. Q. A. Sessions. Miss Julia Mack left Friday for Can yon City, Colorado, where she will reside. Mrs. Nellie Smith, of Kalamazoo, is visiting Mrs. George Apfel. Miss Alice Cramer has returned from Ishpeming. Miss Emma P. Cook, of Lansing, is visiting Mrs. W. W. Whedon. Earl Ware resumed his work as mail carrier Sunday. A. P. Schuinacher is attending a meeting of the state board of pharmacy at Star Mand. Dr.A.K. Hale returned from Adama, N. Y., yesterday. Mrs. John Burg is spending the week with her sister, Mrs. Johnson, of Lodi. Miss Anna Myll, of Detroit, is visiting Miss Marie Bruegel. Fred Britten, of the Detroit Evening News, one of the best and brightest correspondents in the state, is doing commencement this week. Louis D. Taylor, of Chicago, is in the city. Mr. and Mrs. George W.Millen.of Detroit, spent Sunday with Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Morton. Miss Anna Purdy is visiting in Port Huron. Mrs. Wetmore, of Concord, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Morton. Hon. B. L. Baxter, of Tecumseh, is visiting Judge N. W. Cheever. Mrs. John Schmid, of West Huron street, spent yesterday in Toledo visiting with friends. Prof. Herman Zeitz, of the University School of Music, left yesterday for New York, to sail for Hamburg. In the latter city he will meet Prof. Schmale. After spending a few days there he will rnake the Rhine tour and visit Dresden and Leipsic. He expects to return to Ann Arbor September 29. Charles J. N. Jacobs is contemplating going to California in the course of a few weeks. He rather expects to lócate at Las Angeles. Dr. W. Bister, of Plushing, is spending a few days with his mother and friends. Mrs. Chas. Smith and daughter Mamie, of Kalamazoo, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Qeorge Apfel. Mrs. C. Schlenker and daughters Mattie and Liddia, of Carthage, 111., are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Philip Lohr. H. N. E. Gleason.of Cleveland, Ohio, is visitinsr W. K. Childs. Mrs. James Galick is visiting her daughter in Plttsbvirg, Pa. Miss Wilder, of Chicago, is visiting Miss Mary Fischer. Mrs. C. W. Penny has returned from Berkeley, Cal. and is visiting Mrs. W.B. Smith. Miss Mabel Bosworth is visiting in Indianapolis, Ind. Before her return she ■will go to Baltimore, Md., as a delégate to the National B. Y. P. U. convention. Deputy county treasurer P. J. Lehman and family visited in Waterloo over Sunday. Charles L. Sanford. of Rochester, N. Y., is visiting old friends here. Prof.' and Mrs. F. M. Hamilton, of Bueyrus, Ohio, removed to this citv Friday. They will reside on South JP uní avenue. Dr. and Mrs. C. B. Nancrede entertained the senior medical class at a lawn fete Friday evening. Miss Anna O. Robinson is spending the sammer in Cleveland, Ohio. i Mrs. M. S. Oswald has returned from a visit in Jtiliet, Mich. Mrs. H. M. Slauson, of Moliues, 111. , is visiting her mother, Mrs. Conover. Miss Alice Hunt will teach an art class in Denver, Colorado, this summer. Sam Kinne returned Friday from a trip to California and Texas.
