Omaha, June 4 -The investigatlon Into City Treasurer Bolln's short age has ook been made public, though a week ha paised since it was discovered that he was $0,000 short. Bulln ha not been dismlssed irom hls office or in any way dÍBturbod. He has secured his bondsmon for whatever amount they may be requirod to make up by deeding them all his Oinaha property. One result of the prolonged investigation will be a deorease in the shortage of Beveral thousand dollars. The city employés who had bem advanced nioney by Bolln have been hustling to square their accounts. One inember of the city eouncll had drawn tl,125, which would be equal to hig pay for twenty-two months, or ior sixteen months after his term of -offloe hnd eipired. He paid $1,000 of this amount the day after the shortage was disoovered and has paid the balance since. Other oity officials had drawn amounts langing trom $10 to $500, which have alio been ropaid.
