The following programme will be presented at Whitraore Lake July 4 : Introductory remarks,Rev. L. P. Goldrick, toastmaster ; Minnis orcestra, "Th ree Cheers for the Red, White and Blue;" The Day We Celébrate, Rev. Frank Kennedy ; Beethoven Quartette, "The Merry Cobbler" ; comic song, James Harkins; Our Country, M. J. Cavanaugh ; tenor solo, selected, Bruno St. James; bass solo, "There will never be one like yon," J. A. Kelly; soprano solo, Miss Lizzie Kinnie; Patriotism, J. Grove Campbell ; ' ' Who stole my poodle, " Beethoven Quartette; comic song, "The latest of the late," James Harkins; farce in f our parts, Anderson dramatic club; "My Country 'tis of Thee," Minuis orchesfra ; grand chorus of voices accompauied by the orchestra in singing the above natioual air. The ladies of St. Patricks' parish, Northfield, promise an excellent dinner to all the patrons of the picnic, as chicken pot pie, lunb, other choice rneats and the good things of the season will be served in abundance. One train leaves the Toledo and Ann Arbo depot at 8 :07 aud the special train at 10. Retnrning in the eveniug leaves Whitmore Lake at 7. Only 2ö cents for the round trip and 15 cents for childreu will be chargad. No one can doubt fchat the ride to tbe lake and return this coming Fourth on the T. & A. A. road is as reasimable as conld be expected, and no doubt many will take advantage of the occason to visit this beautiful summer resort on the glorious Fourth.
