John Corkins, formerly of Rawsonville, was seen driving through Willis last Sunday. Mr. Rosenworth, thb hardware nierchant, entertained his brother and frieuds of Romulus Sunday., On Monday, G. ST. Hammond had three quarters of an inch of his palate cut off. Rev. J. S. Hill made a trip to Detroit last Saturday on important business. William H. Willings has returned from Oil City, Pa. The Willis creamery is in full blast. The proprietor, Elijah Darling, seems happy in the dairy. His churning amounts to about 135 pounds a day. He has between sixty and seventy patrons. The creamery is averagine about three thousand pounds daily, or rather has been, the dry weather and f eed causes a drop iu the milk. The butter is af Excellent quality. The Augusta full creara oheese factory is putting iu its work. Eight cheeses a day are manufactured by Harvey S. Day, who received flrst premium at the Michigan state fair Isat year. Mrs. Augusta Pratt has a very fine pariot whose name is Grover and of course he is smart. He will hang by his bilĂ­, put his feet through the cage and shake hands with his friends.
