Regents Meet In Detroit
At the meeting of the board of regents held at the Russell house, in Detroit, yesterday the board made a number of appointments. The lecturers in the law department were re-appoiated except that the chairs of elocution and oratory, code of pleading and practice and the history of the oommon law were left vacant. The following appointments of assistants in the chemical laboratory : Assistant in qualitative chemistry, Carlton B. Ross, Ph. B. , at a salary of $200, in place of E. R. Miller, of the olass of '94, who got the same arnount last year ; Herman E. Brown, at a salary of $200, in place of P. F. Trowbridge, of the class of '94 who received $200 last year George Wagner, Ph. C. , at a salary of $200, in place of James Seymour, of the class of '94, who received $19( last vear; assistant in pharmacy, James Seymour, Ph. C, at a salary of $300 per year, in place of J. L. Washbnrn, of the class of '94, who got $150 last year. Prof. Charles E. Green, dean of the engineering department, was grauted au assisant at $300 per year. Plans for the woman's annex to the Waterman gymnasium were discussed.
