Landek, Wyo., Aug. 1. - Thereis an entire absence of wild tales here. Twomen caine in f rom Jackson's Hole, one of them being the special correspondent of the New York Herald. He reports that the Indians had not killed any whitee. The Indians are camped near Oregon buttes. It was talked loudly among the Shoahones that they wera starving and that they would rathar die lightin g soldiers than live and starve to death. There is an agreement among the Bannocks, Utes, Lembia and Shoshones that at the proper time the government will be informed that peace can be aecured only by increasins theirrations.
