John Reynolds, of Howell, was in the city Friday looking after his Ann street store. Mr. Reynolds owns and nianages a good sized farm. He says ie has 15 acres inbeans this year which are looking very well. More beans ïave been planted in Washtenaw and Livingston counties than usual. Beans are in themselves a good paying orop and as they can be put in late during the month of June, are just as good as a summer fallow. By running a cultivator the ground is ready for wheat in ;he f all. Taking everything into consideration beans are a profitable erop.
