The time prize was wou b.v T. R. Eddy in just forty-eight seconds less time thau Stofflet made his twenty-five miles. Stoftiet's fast racing may be judged by the fact that the world's record up to Saturday was five seconds f aster than Stofflet's time. And five seconds ou twenty-five miles is a very brief fractiou of time. The prize that Stofflet oarried off was a $50 silver water set.
