After the eleotion in whioh the Bilver wing, by the nominatlon of Judge Holcomb for j governor, came out viotorious, there was : a let-up in the flght, and for a time IC promised to die out and result In a reunión of the party in the state. In fact steps were taken for s oonfernce with thla object in view. Recently, however, the peace negotiations feil through and the flght was renowed. It il oharged by gome anti-administratton men that the recent vislt of Secretary Morton had somethlng to do witb this chango. This flght, in the opinión of the free silver Democrats, Is part of a plan to send doublé delegations to the national convention in 1 89i.
