Portland, Ore., Aug. 28.- George F. Ormsby, an agent of the Sociológica! and Reform League of Boston is inves tigating the resources and the advantages offered by the country to a colony ■f people seeking homes in the west. ■Che aim of the Sociological and Reform league, Mr. Ormsby states, is to better the condition of mankind living in the crowded centers of the east.
