Death Of Judge J. G. Strong

Blue Bapids, Kas., Sept. 5.- Judg James G. Strong, formerly well known in political and railroad oiroles, died here yes terday. He was born in Boone county Ind. ; located in Dwight, Hls., in 1859, an was later sent to the Illinois sonate. I 1870 he introduced the flrst bill for the ap pointnient of a board of railroad oommis sioners to regúlate faros and freigh charges. He was a prominent Mason His remains will be takun to Morris, Hls for burial.
