Fire Costs Boston $300,000

Boston, Sept. 5. - One of the inost disastrous flres that has occurred along Bosion's water front in yoars started on tht dockg at East Boston, and before it oould be controlled destroyed three piera, tw storehouses, a freight shed, flfteen loaded ïreight cars and a largo quantity oi freight, and slightly damaged a number oí dwelling houses. The loss is estimated at 8300,000, partly insured.
