-Buzzaeds Bat, Mass., Sept. 19.- The gold-rimmed button attached to a wire connecting Gray Gables, the summer residence of President Cleveland, with the motor in Machinery hall at tho great Cotton States and International exposition at Atlanta, was pressed by the chief executive of the United States last evening. This act, coming at the close of an elabórate opening programme at Atlanta, was intended to furnish a fitting climax to the day's events in that city. Just before touehing the button the president exchanged congratulatory messages with the exposition directors.
