QUINCY, Oot. 8. - The annual convention of the Woruen's Christian Temperanoe Union of Illinois has begun hsre with about 400 delegates. The opening exercises included devotional meetings all day, led by Anna Downey, of Evanston, and Mary Mahan, of Moline.
