The circuit court has kept up a constant grind this week aud ruauy cases )f the 130 on the calendar have been lisposed of. The case of the people vs. P.G. Suekey was continued uutil next :erm. John Kapp and J. V. Sheehan ire sureties in the suni of $5,000 for his ippeurance. Twö liquor cases were disposed of, snriching the couuty treasury. Martin Vogel pleaded guilty and a line of $10 with $5.71 costs was impostjd. Patrick Fitzaiimnons paid a like fine aud $5. 35 costs. Geo. Letter pleaded not guilty to a charge of violating the liqnor laws. Gteorge Efner paid a fine of $5.40. Chas. H. Hinos pleaded not guilty to the charge of robbery hauging over hiin. The case was continued. In the case of the peóple vs. John Harrison aud Anna E. Bryaut, adultery, the defendants pleaded not guilty. Jacob Mack eutered a similar plea on a charge of f als-e pretenses. Jacob Dingman pleaded not guilty to indecent exposure and his case was continuad. In the slander suit of Frederick Boos vs. Catheriue Ryan, the jury reudered a verdict of $100for the plaintiff. Ann J. Walker in her oase against the city was given until the next term ;o file a bilí of exceptious. Iu Breiteuwischer vs. Clough, 30 days were grauted in which to file a 3ill of exceptions. The cases of the people vs. Samuel Graham and Chas. Walker were nolle pvossed as was also Ihe case aga nsc Amos W. Lampkin. In the liqnor case of Gnstave Brehna, the latter pleaded not guilty. In the case of Frank Bangs vs. D. (Jramer, plaintiff was ordered to give bonds in the sum of $30. In John Loney vs. R. Armbruster, the plaintiff was ordered to file security in the sum of $50 within ten days. In W. R. Bryau vs. S. D. Adams an order to file security in thirty days was made. In Peter Oesterle vs. Frank Glazier, defendant was granted 30 days to file a bilí of exoeptious. S. Hndson has been admitted to thc bar.
