Wilham Arnold and wife have taken up their new home in Detroit. Mr. Walsh and daughter spent part of the week in Detroit. Mrs. Soulier has returned to her home iu Mi;. Clemens affcer a few days' stay here. Mrs. John McCabe and daughter, Mrs. John Sheehan, of Hamburg, have been in Ypsilauti the past few days. James Rankin, of Gaines, is spending the weeks with friends here. Mrs. Miles visited her daughter, Mrs. Chas Jewell, last week. Richard Lavey, of South Putnam, made his friends a pleasant cali Sunday. A number f rom here attended the auotion at John Van Horn'e in Hamburg Tuesdav. Mr. Robbins and wife enterfcained ülarence Carpenter and wife last Sunday. John Welsh and family have been ftntertaining relatives and friends froin abroad the past month. MoCabe Brothers lost anothor horse last week, this being Ihe third horse they have lost in the past month. Misses Mildred ,and Alice Minor, of Leroy, will spend the week with their cousin. Mrs. Sigler and sons, of Pinokney, visited Will Curlett and ïamily last week. Mrs. A. Gallagher was the guest of her son in this vicinity a few days last week. E. Campbell and family have moved into Mr. Dixon's house. Mrs. Simpsou has retumed from her visit at Jacksun. P. Cnller, of Ithaoa, spent a few days recently with his old frieuds in this place. TheCrescent Club will give a dance at the Dexter opera house this Friday evening, October 18. The ladies of the L.O.T.M. of Pinckney were entertained by the Dexter L. O. T. M. last Saturiay. Mrs. Stickie, of Pinckney, was the guest of frieuds here lást Friday. E. Ellsaser was in Ann Arbor on business last week. Frank Greening and wife retnrned from their wedding trip last Thursday eveuing. Mrs. Bostwick is the guest of her danghter in Detroit. Patiiok McCabe spent Sunday in Hudson. Mrs. Blades and danghter, of Pettysville, passed here Tuesday on their way to Ann Arbor. Mrs. Kubn aud friend, of Fleming, spent last week with friends. Miss Joey Harris spent Sunday with P. Lavey and family.
