This is a story about a man over ín Alexandria who bas a great deal of ! money, to which lie is deeply attached. He is, in fact, so attached to it tbat he hates to be separafed from a dollar of it. He has a sük hat, too - a well preserved silk hat of great age and undoubted respectability. He is fond of his hat, and he'd like to wear it every day, but silk hats, yon know, are expensive, so he has been wearing his for these inauy years just on Snnday. On week days he wears a siiocking bad hat which does not concern this story. The last time the storks visited the Alexandria man's house they were generons. They brunght twins, a boy and a girl.
