To Abandon St. Louis

The Aun Arbor Railroad company bas been gradíng for the past few weeks, prpparafory to the change of their road from St Louis, so as to abandon tbat place and run direct from Ithaca to Alma. St. Lonis decided to stop the chauge, and recently flled a bil! in the Gratiot county circuit court restraining the Aun Arbor company from cbangiug its route. Judge Daboll entered an oriler to show cause why it should not be done. The hearing was Tuesday bef ore Judge Eldredge, in the absence of Judge Daboll. The defendants, in their answer, admitted theat they intended to abandon St. Louis altogflther, on account of bad curves and grades. Tbe complainants were represented by E.A.Cooley, of Bay City, and the defendants by A. Smith, of Toledo. Judge Eldredge reserved nis decisión for a week.
