Mrs. Robore Loury and sister Mae. of Tecnmseh, are visiting Mrs. Etta Greeii and family. The chioken pie social at Mrs. De ■ Wolfe's Thursday eveniüg was quite a snocess. The Ladiea' Aid Society gave a pumpkin pie social Friday last, and all reported a pleasant time. The reunión of Coinpany G, Third Michigan Gavalry was held at D. F. Smith's Thursday evening, October 24. The bauquet was largely attended. One feature of the evening was a speech made by Heury Clay, of Caro, Mich. He was formerly a slave and was under Captain Quackenbush and returnnd with J)im froru the war to Michigan. He served all through the war. All wens glad to see him here again and he wás heartily welconie.
