Camden, Oct. 81. - Word has roached here that the forest flros which had been burning in the marshes and meadows near Montgomery, in the southern ond of this county, had reached such dangerous proportions tho town was in great danger of being wiped out. The alarm over the situation has become so great that, with the high winds blowing, it is feared tho flre cannot be kept f rom the town itself. The business men have closed their 6tores and gone" out to fight the fires, and every able-bodied man in the place has turned into a fireman.
