About 1 :30 o'clock Wednesday mornng the barn of A. L. Yost, at Ypsilanti, aurned. The barn was oocupied by James Garaghty, a batcher, and six of lis üorses perished in the flamea. A loultry liuyer narued Morse occupied sheds directly north of the barn and at the time of the fire had 500 live turceys and 200 cuickens in the shed. They ■were liberated and few were af terwards fonnd. The flre oommunicated to J. P. Diokinsou's axe handle store house and that was also destroyed.entailiug a loss of $2,000.
